Ladies and Gentlemen… this is the first post of the ‘Tangent exclusive behind the scenes’ videos. On behalf of the Tangent team, I have the mission to make you discover the behind the scenes of our most tangent fashion editorials. I will be publishing new videos every couple of weeks… and I have decided to start with ‘Clean and Press’.

‘Clean and Press’ presents the story of 4 glamourous fashion vampires working, living, eating, sleeping and haunting an industrial laundromat. These girls are programmed to live for work and work for fashion.
In this editorial, Heather Cairns, our Tangent Editor and fashion stylist has been featuring a bunch of ozzie labels that we really adore: Wayne Cooper, Nicola Finetti, Alannah Hill, Illionaire, Master/Slave, Anon, and Amar… and some amazing jewelry from Peter Lang… to name a few.
I have photographed ‘Clean and Press’ late May 09 at Euro Star Dry Cleaning and Laundry in Darlinghurst, next to where my previous studios was. Everytime I was walking pass that place, I had that internal thrill and desire to shoot a surrealistic story in these premises.In my mind, it could only be onwn by 4 femmes fatales… bossing the whole laundromat by themsleves, dressed in their most glamourous outifts but never able to exit the place, as if a spell was haunting the place.
