One of the strongest trends to come to the fore of the recent 2010 Spring Summer fashion circut was ‘Underwear as Outerwear’.  In New York, Marc Jacobs literally put silk underwear over clothing in harmonious mix of pastel hues. In Milan, Dolce & Gabbana ditched the dresses and chose to end their show with an entourage of corseted models.  In Paris, John Galliano at Christian Dior surmised the trend with his all inclusive slips on Style.com, saying; ” That’s why we’ve created the ‘slip illusion’, that way we actually don’t have to wear any underwear at all.”
