We love a good party here at Tangent, so hold on to your seats because this is one launch party that is going to blow you away! Those kooky geniuses at Casio have decided to celebrate the launch of their G-SHOCK watches with the G-SHOCK SHOCK THE WORLD TOUR.
The G-SHOCK watch is that classic timepiece of the 90’s that had so many functions it made you feel like taking on the world a la Lara Croft (or Bond… James Bond). 200m water resistantance, stopwatch, alarm, calendar, backlight… Non-stop solar power…Atomic timekeeping? This is a watch superheroes only DREAM about! Initially the favourite of skateboarders, this watch has had a sexy revamp and is being picked up by everyone who matters. But don’t worry it still has that same kick-some-ass ‘tude you all love so much.
The G-SHOCK SHOCK THE WORLD TOUR is set to go off worldwide from Paris to Berlin. Having already hit New York with an event that had the Big Apple buzzing for days after- (think a full set performance by Kanye West, lasers, and a guest list that was hotter than an Oscars RSVP list) the tour is set to drop in Sydney on the 19th November 2009, at CarriageWorks. As if the hype wasn’t enough there are some big big names to send you a scramblin’ for some tickets.
