London report /// Fighting the winter blues!
OOOOlaaaaa Taaaantaaaaastic!!!! ‘Greetings’ once again dear Ladies and Gents of the TANGENT world! (aka: THE TANGENTINE). Sit back, take a pew, grab your steamin ott’ cup/s of Joe (or flaming Eck..Lets get really’ British’ shall we?? Lets go the Earl Grey! Gotta do it! Lets take this ‘London time’ to a whole other level! ).
So, with aromatic cups and mugs firmly in hand (a little buttered toasted ‘tea cake’ on the side perhaps?) its time to let our London Gal Miss Liz Frost do aaaall the ‘tan-talising’ talking…as it seems that whatever the weather- be it rain, hail, whole entire ‘snowed over’ villages OR shine (be you le lucky ones!)…A certain lil ‘bronze-magic’ is never far from our dreams!
GREETINGS FROM BIG BEN!
Pure Radiance…
It might be snowing, but we’re simply glowing…
The Christmas decorations have been taken down, the New Year’s resolutions have been made (and broken), it’s snowing outside and there are a whopping 73 days until the next bank holiday. – It’s officially the most depressing time of the year in the UK, but we’re not letting that keep us down. We’re fighting back against the Winter Blues with an arsenal of blushers and bronzers, lotions and potions and – with a little help – we’re positively glowing.
Youngblood’s Mineral Radiance (£38, www.demapure.eu) has a variety of peachy bronze tones in its Sundance palette – best for warm skin tones (check your arm – veins will appear green) and cool skins (blue veins) are best opting for the pink bronze tones in the Splendor palette.

Those of us who are just plain tired of being pale are smothering ourselves in Xen-Tan’s Transform Luxe. It’s loved by the likes of Drew Barrymore and the Olsen Twins, it has a new time release ingredient to give you a smooth, gradual tan and it smells delightfully of vanilla (£23.95 for 236m).

None of this is any compensation for a nice sunny day, but in the meantime, we’ll be doing our best to have a healthy glow and indulging in making snow angels!

SO its official then- the ‘san tropez’, Miami beach- meets-French riviera-meets-jamaaaaica maaaaaan ‘glow’ is here to stay!
Q) Could this be the ‘staple’ look of the new decade?? I mean with all these great new and improved ‘tantiliiising’ formulas within the market..And firmly tried, tested and within our bronzing reach…(bad baaaaaaaaaad orange-meets-poo coloured, smeary, patchy fake tans now ‘thankfully’ a distant ‘so-ooo last decade’ memory) could ‘the tan’ be here to stay? Could it be the new ‘oil of Olay’??
Stay tuned summer lovin’ peeps…this lil laydy is ‘ON the case’!
Signing off-BUT until next time TANGENTINES…stay safe!
Bisous!
Xxx ferni
