The creative force behind Australian fashion label, WISH, have an uncanny talent for unearthing major stars in the modelling and acting world for their campaigns.  Their coming ‘WISH Summer 11′ campaign is to be released early April this year and features none other than Dakota Johnson.  Tangent Digital was lucky enough to get our hands on this teaser shot from the campaign and have an interview with the star herself!

The IMG model and talented actor, Dakota, is filling the shoes of past WISH campaign models such as controversial Dutch supermodel Lara Stone and Australian supermodel Talulah Morton. Dakota,who is the daughter of actors, Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson and grand daughter of famed actress, Tippi Hedren,  has performance in the blood.  This was all to clear from catching up with Dakota whilst she was in Australia to shoot the WISH Summer 11 campaign. With two movies coming out this year, one of them starring opposite Justin Timberlake in ‘Social Network’, it is going to be a landmark year for Dakota.Tangent Digital will release the interview with backstage shots from the campaign in the next few weeks- so stay tuned!

As for the latest range from WISH, we asked Dakota for a little inside style advice as she’s already seen the collection, ” The designs that come from WISH are literally for every type of style.  You could be sweet and innocent and wear a WISH dress or you could be sexy and bold and wear a WISH leather jacket and WISH leggings.  It’s a matter of putting thing together that you feel good in, and WISH can do that really easily.”
