Howdy everybody,

The cinema experience that ties a good pack of chips and dips, a glass of wine, a picnic blanket and a group of friends is on this weekend at the Domain in Sydney. Tropfest will be celebrating it’s 18th birthday and showcasing the 16 finalists that had to explore Tropfest Signature item of the year – Dice.

For the Tangenters located in other parts of Australia, a live satellite will be showcasing the run up for the big prize in outdoor locations. For the international Tangenters located in New York, Bangkok, Beijing, London and Toronto stay tuned for future screening information.

Tropfest is one of the things I look forward in the summer time in Sydney! If you are a budding film maker make sure you stay tuned for next year’s theme that will be announced on the night. The event is open to anyone who wishes to enter and definitely a great ‘door’ to the cinematographic industry. So time to start brainstorming!
