Tangent Digital asked Natalie all about style à la LA.

TD: What inspired you to start a blog?

NS: I was introduced to fashion blogs from my sister and was really fascinated by them. I found blogs so inspiring and so much fun to read everyday.  I have always loved fashion and putting together different looks from my wardrobe so I thought, “why not blog about it?”

TD: Describe LA style.

NS: LA style is super laid back and casual.  Jeans and a T-shirt are the norm.  I love how people don’t really try so hard to get dressed up here.  There are so many young people in LA who make casual dressing look really good.

TD: Celebrity, designer or model – do you have a person in particular whose style do you admire?

NS: I admire so many different people’s style!  Those that have really stood out to me though would have to be Dree Hemingway, Erin Wasson, and Daria Werbowy.2cyp0yr

TD: As a model you get to travel a lot, does your personal style reflect this?

NS: Everywhere I go, I try to get little pieces here and there to add to my wardrobe.  I look for bracelets and rings that I can wear everyday that bring back memories of my travels.

TD: What designers do you keep coming back to?

NS: I love Alexander Wang, Chloe, Dries Van Noten, and Proenza Schouler.  They are all so different from one another, but I admire them all.  I don’t stick to one look so a variety of designer clothing appeals to me.

TD: Do you have a signature item?

NS: My black booties.  I’m always wearing them!

TD: Describe your typical Saturday night ensemble.

NS: Black leather pants, structured shoulder blazer, a tee, and booties.  I could wear this everyday.
