Michael Wolf – ‘Paris Street View’

The Foam Fotografie Museum in Amsterdan  is showcasing the works of German photographer Michael Wolf until the 10th of April. ‘Paris Street View’ is an outdoor exhibition installed in the streets of Zuidas with  an extraordinaire 24 large scale works showing the city of lights in a different perspective.

Wolf tackles subjects within his work such as population density, voyeurism and privacy as reoccurring themes.  ‘Paris street view’ shows the culture of Paris by using Google Street view, Wolf uses this as a tool to study the concept of symbolism and representation. Using pixelated images from the internet he delves into the streets of Paris.
