Dear Tangenters,

Fernanda here writing her last words for the crowd that enjoys a good play and twist of creativity. It has been a great ride and I’ll miss you guys and the Tangent crew deeply! And of course I can’t finish this post only on a goodbye note, before I part I would like to share with you something that caught my attention this week, hope you enjoy!

From the 14th April the 49th edition of Milan Furniture Fair will begin. Having that in mind there is more to the fair than contemporary to classical furniture. In collaboration with Project B Gallery, the event will be showcasing the exhibition ‘The Art of Chess’. The idea behind the show was to ask different artist to create their own interpretation of the game of chess and what it represent to them. Each of the seven participants had to create their own chess table and pieces, putting their own unique spin to the ancient game.

Some of the artists involved in the project are Jake and Dinos Chapman, Tom Friedman, Damien Hirst and Barbara Kruger.
