Anna Dello Russo in a Bottle?
World renowned fashion editor at large for Vogue Japan Anna Dello Russo has launched her highly anticipated self-titled fragrance ‘The Scent of Anna Dello Russo’ just in time for the holiday season.
Critics have described the scent as “sweet & sophisticated” with a hint of “vanilla cream” essence.
The fragrance is bottled in a golden glass slipper design reflecting Russo’s iconic eccentric and bold style.
The Cinderella slipper reference is meant to signify Russo’s rise to blogosphere fame and continued success at the age of 47.
Russo says, “For 20 years no one noticed me — I worked like Cinderella at the bottom of the pile. Finally I’ve been invited to the ball”.
The slipper design also represents her renowned love affair for shoes, as Russo is known to have a personal collection of over 4000.
Keeping with her trend for online publicizing Russo released a YouTube video in collaboration with the launch of the perfume which shows Russo in what she describes as her dream bedroom complete with designer clothing, jewellery, shoes and eccentric headpieces.
