Maison Martin Margiela have brought forth a new tshirt design for World Aids Day to be sold exclusively in all their stores as well as the Margiela e-boutique. Every season since 1994 Margiela add this design to their collection with the text in english: THERE IS MORE ACTION TO BE DONE TO FIGHT AIDS THAN TO WEAR THIS T-SHIRT BUT IT’S A GOOD START. For this season they have swapped the English for French and thus encourage discussion between people when it is worn.

A percentage of the sales goes to AIDES, a French organisation dedicated to the fight against HIV and AIDS viruses and so far over 180 thousand have been sold with 750, 000 euros going toward the cause so far.
