Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Fernanda moved to Australia in 2004 where she graduated as a graphic designer at Billy Blue College of Design and after continued her studies with Masters of Art at COFA, majoring in printmaking.

Her inspirations are her background, nature, words, music, memorabilia, places, curiosities, photography, popular sayings, old family stories and customs, other people’s stories and customs and so on.

Fernanda combines and experiments with a mix of Graphic Design and Fine Art to create her work. She is currently working as a graphic designer, making new prints, talking about art with Tangent readers, balancing her design and art and always looking for new challenges and adventures!
